A brand I created from scratch for university. Adora is a gift delivery app for couples who, at the last minute, want to surprise their other half. There's no physical store: everything happens on your phone.
I designed a combination mark so the symbol can be separated from the name and work on its own as the app icon. The name means love and gift in Old English.
The symbol is a gift with heart-shaped handles. I tilted it to the right, like the typeface, and added a line to the A and to the gift to convey movement and speed. I chose a bold, rounded typeface that stays readable even on a moving delivery backpack, and two shades of pink to speak about love.
It all comes from one concept: love in a hurry.
